Most brassicas, and spring onions! saying that i've never successfully grown runner beans from seed ether!  :(

Those black and white runner beans from T&M's Eden range - I've planted two packets and got 0 germination after six weeks.

BNS.......last year fed,watered,tucked in every night,talked to and generally pampered......not one *%$£**&^*** squash!.....The bloke on the adjacent plot never touched his all summer,by the end of september the weeds were waste high....and amongst all that were lurking half a dozen fine fat squashes!....they sat there and rotted,he never picked them >:(
Oh and spring onions,dont know why I bother trying :(.....................got both in again this year though :tongue2:

Swiss Chard!
Can germinate it no problem but protecting from the birds........ impossible! Even found their way through my dodgy netting on lots two and three!
Will try again next year when I have invested in some better netting!

The bloke next to me put in eight plants last year. I got one squash about five inches long, he got about forty. He grewq them for his daughter, who then decided she only wanted a few, so every time I went down, I was presented with a huge beauty! Sadly, this year he hasn't grown any!
