Forgive me if this is a really daft question, but one of my Orp Bantams is broody and I was wondering if it's possible to put a couple of duck eggs under her?  I don't have cockerals, but I've got a drake and 3 girlies.  If she were to hatch them, would it not confuse her?  I know that sounds a bit bonkers, all my ducks and chucks live happily together.

She and the ducklings would be fine although apparently the hens get a little panicked when the ducklings keep diving into any water they see!

Broody hens are apparently generally regarded as a better way of raising ducklings than ducks who can be quite unreliable. That being said my broody duck was unstoppable!

I have a friend whose broody hen raised ducks and a very good job she made of it. I am waiting for one of my hens to go broody to try some duck eggs.
