That is very true, at least I know what that kind of behaviour leads to!! If I got another I could get her the vet quicker.

It sounds as though you did everything you possibly could for poor buttercup but she was poorly before she got to you.

I've only had chickens a short time  but they certainly get to you. good luck with your other girls and don't let this put you off.
