 :) I've never had young birds at this time of year before so I'm not sure when to put them out
  they are 8wk old bantams when is the best time to put them in the coop with the rest of my girls?

For their own safety they need to be pretty big.... around 16 weeks to be safe :)
I love Pekins, Polands and Seramas :) and eggs!!!

our full grown bantams were bullied beyond belief when they were with the big hens and after a few weeks we had to move them and they now live happily with our poots.

Today one of the big chooks (they free range) and Poppy the bantam, were squaring up to one another through the mesh :(
