I live in sussex and im about to go away for a week on monday. I have fine beans, runners, toms, cucumber, psb, brussels and sunflowers all tiny seedlings. i cant keep them inside and ask the housesitter to put them out and get them in each day! And i thunk they are still too small to be planted out. Will the be ok unprotected outside with forecasts showing no lower than 9 celcius do you think?

the psb and brussels would be better outside anyhow and all but the cucumber will probably be good so long as they are watered.  The cucumber would be touch and go but if you had a cloche it might make it.  My toms are out and on there own now and I'm a few miles colder than you!

If there's a building nearby with a sunny side, or if the building is heated (rather than a shed), the cucumber will have an even better chance.

I had courgettes and cucumbers out in similar night temperatures earlier this year, they had no problems.
