Just on the nest box topic you can buy these sorts of thing...

http://www.ascott-dairy.co.uk/acatalog/Roll-Away-Nest-Box-Single-PY300.html

Could maybe make a frame to support it through the wall somehow.
Or just copy it in wood.

Well found !!

Very similar to mine except I've used shiplap on the lid and covered it with felt cos it was leaking

Mine's got a simple bolt at each side which slides into a hole into the framing to hold it in place.

If you can do the framing with 2x1 and clad it, I reckon £20 should cover it. Plus it would be stronger but depends if you have the time and tools.

I made ours in the kitchen after over Christmas and new Year. Most fun I've had for ages.  :)

yeah very true,

id use 18mm ply i think if i made it anyway so would be strong.

i realy dunno what im gonna go, at this rate im gonna have to get rid of the pekin if the others dont leave it alone so may just leave it as it is, will still email the people with the ready made one and check the bank and tave a think then

Sounds like a separate thread for advice on the bullying might help.
I'm sorry I don't know what to suggest.

I'm sure it's solvable though.

Brilliant! Thinking of buying one now! How did you manage to cut out the hole from the inside? did you reninforce it somehow? Sorry 20 questions but how large is it?
