You know what they say - small is beautiful  :D  Anyway, I like all of those, why waste time growing lots of stuff you don't eat often, or can't look after properly?  :D

- Spring onion (white Lisbon)
- Lettuce, (Tom thumb)

- Scabious,
- Carnations
- Red + White onions,
- Leeks (Autumn giant i think)
- Broad beans (quite a few varieties in paper pots)
- Sweet Peas (saved from last years)
- Tomatoes (gardeners delight)
- Heritage tomatoes (Snow white and Black Prince)
- Cucumber (Marketmore I think)

Outdoors:

- Peas (early onward)

At home:
Oregano, parsley, thyme, Russian Sage, viola, pansy, primula.
Down the plot:
Broad beans, a few lettuce seeds under a cloche, onions and garlic.
Tomorrow:
A few carrots under a cloche against frost and peas going in trays under cloche to start out during next week.
Marginally twirly to start the brassica family and the bean family off up here.

However, there are the permanent features like rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, assorted herbs, fruit bushes in place. So it's no way an empty plot.

At school: shallots; sweet peas; early peas; flowers (calendular, eschscholzia. cornflower, phacelia and other insect attractors- itll be interesting to see what comes up!) ; carrots; parsnips and salad leaves.  First earlies go in next week.

At home: early peas; parsnips; salad leaves; spinach; first early potatoes (4!); sweet williams; asters; cornflower black ball; celeriac and basil.

Im interested to see some people are growing butternut squash, pumpkins etc already... are these for growing in polytunnels/greenhouse??

I won't start mine until the middle of next month. I don't know where others will be growing theirs, but you'd need a very large greenhouse to accommodate one plant!
