I have a small patch of boggy land on my plot and was wondering if anything would favour/ tolerate those conditions? Or should i just deck it!!??

Blueberries don't mind some dampness but not outright sloppy soil.

Celeriac?... First thing to do when it stops raining is to go and water the celeriac  so they say
Put a mound of horse poo or compost in/on it and stick a pumpkin on top?

Pond or bog garden. Frogs on your plot will eat up slugs.

I have a patch  like that in full sun that I ridged with manure, topped with soil and grew
squash and ridge cucumbers with excellent results. I shall use it for celery this year.

Leeks like a lot of water - don't know about 'boggy' though, as truely boggy soil will have very little air in it.

I guess that watercress would do well.

I throw jerusalem artichokes where nothing else will grow - they certainly don't mind getting very wet in the summer - might be worth a try if you like them, although they might not come to anything.

Might be worth investing the time/money/effort to drain your marsh, or perhaps turn it into a 'bog-garden'.

Celery is essentially a bog plant,
not grown it myself before but have bought seeds this year and have read they quite like a boggy patch(not sure how boggy they like it though
