Bleary good morning from Bulgaria. Fire went out and cat decided to go into hyper mode around 3am and woke everyone. Fire lit and everyone except me and the cockerels are snoozing again. Bah!

And it's snowing!

Good morning Tosca and all. The last lie-in before back to work tomorrow, everyone else still snoring away but I've been awake for ages .

Morning all. Neighbour's dogs finally stopped barking 1/2 hour ago, but now I'm too wound up to get to sleep. Not much point in trying now, due to get up in less than 2 hours.

Lovely to see people at the EMC despite the lack of sleep someyou get.

I'm wide awake - did try sleeping but gave up - slowly recovering from op on 31st Dec so sleep pattern hopeless.

Hope you all have a good growing year ahead.... I'm just after a break from hospital visiting & stays.

Take care.

Morning all. Knee deep in snow here this morning with a predicted temperature high of -5. A bit chilly. OH is stir crazy already after two days....he's not really confined to the house, just thinks he is. He's forever in and out leaving the door open.

I think it's a toad in the hole with thick onion gravy day!

Get well soon Paul  :)  I hope this year does give you a bit more of a break to enjoy your garden and your veg growing  :)

Morning all. Up early due to restless animals. Would love a couple of hours all on my own but hey ho. Wouldn't be without them :)

It started raining yesterday morning so we were confined to the house after putting a load of straw down for the ducks and chickens. Lethal it was, even the dog fell over. But then the sun came out and it thawed, still pretty, was still thawing at midnight....then froze. Good thing we don't have to go out for any reason (OH checks on the neighbours) especially to a stressful job we hate. Just cosy up by the fire.  :D

Thanks for asking.  :)

Thank you. A bit like the veg patch - feeling rather sodden at the moment but the pain is reduced and I'm back to being a carer on Tuesday.

The op was not a success so I have another date for a retry... just need to juggle everything to be there. Not sure how that will work so I guess I will be back to early mornings / late nights wide awake thinking about it. :(
