Delighted to hear a good number of you are getting a bit of a longer lay-a-bed. Me too for the last few weeks.

More recently back to nights of hopping in and out of bed/the sofa as my mother needed help over-night then..... off she was whisked to hospital again.

Worry kept me awake through the small hours and then sleeping late when I should have been up and about.
It's a crazy life...

I wonder if I'll cope with a 'normal' routine when life throws me the chance.

Sunday - a day of no hospital visiting for me so...... up to sort out the cat, the budgies and the rabbit. (I should have stuck to tropical fish and the allotment).

Hello Paul, pleased to see you still get chance now & again to pop by. Hope your Mum is soon we'll again although I suppose when she's in hospital you get a sort of break.

Morning all. One of the best things about these winter mornings is the amount of stunning sunrises you get to see. But we do desperately need rain....

Ah you mean the deadly toxic smog? I mean sand. Should be OK unless you have chronic breathing problems, despite what the press say.

Good morning from a slightly damp but mild Bulgaria  :)

Good morning all,

Very clear skies in this part of the country this morning, yet still unusually mild.

I made a start on winter festival shopping yesterday evening, but after walking aimlessly around the shopping centre came away empty handed. I absolutely hate it .... roll on January and getting back to normal!

Is anyone out there tonight?
Trying not to wake other half, who is peacefully snoring, oblivious to the world.
Thought I'd look through the site and found these posts.
Think old age must be catching up with me as well.
I'm often wide awake during the night now  :(

Me too. Get so bored trying to get back to sleep. So here we are, woodburner lit, two cats on knee, two dog's eyes staring, willing me to get their breakfast cos they're STARVING don't you know.  and those pesky cats have food nd it's NOT FAIR

Morning all. Looking forward to a day of brilliant sunshine again as we are off to pick up some new ducks nearly three hours away. Glad I'm not driving, not keen on all that glare.

Good morning Tosca & all,
Too early for sunshine here! We have quite a cold wind blowing this morning, it seems the weather is getting back to how it should be for this time of year. Hope all goes well with getting your ducks.
