Yuzu - has anyone ever grown one?
« on: April 13, 2017, 13:56 »
I hadn't even heard of it until a few weeks ago, but apparently it's quite a fashionable citrus. But what makes it potentially interesting for me is that it can stand prolonged periods of temperature even as low as -12. Which means it can grow outside.

We rarely get temperature anywhere near as cold as -12, but it is often miserably wet and windy in winter. So maybe it still wouldn't like it.

Has anyone ever tried growing one? I am tempted to try!

Not grown it, but it does look good. I think I might give it a go as well  :D

Unless I hear some horror stories on here. Most of what I have read has said minus 5 though but that's still really good for citrus.
