Boursin garlic cheese! Then chevre, then parmesan reggiano (but not all together).

Oh definitely a very extra mature cheddar - miss it terribly.  It's the one thing we make all visitors from the UK bring over!  Sad but true.

Cheshire!!! As a child I used to go to the indoor market in Stockport, which I referred to as the "smelly market" and buy Cheshire and Mild Lancashire but never did like the Tasty Lancashire :D

The smelly market is new and improved these days   I used to call it that too and hated it when mum took me in!

My fave has to be Creamy Lancashire on digestive bics!  I love a strong cheddar too   :) :)

Actually I just love cheese but is off the menu mainly at the mo  >:(

i know what you mean , just Carnot survive without my cheese , have managed to find some in makro small rounds , two types , and not cheap but they fill in the gaps , suitcase will be full of tea bags oxos and wonderful .
some one once said to me that people shouldn't move to other countries if they Carnot do with our English food , I'm not talking bacon and eggs , its hard to change your diet just like that and whats wrong with wanting to have cheese .
feel like a Wallace and gromit moment coming on , is there any crackers

I like nice and smooth cheeses. There is a particular cheddar out there i cant place that's very nice. Crumbly ones are not up my street and none of this pongy french stuff.

But actually there is not any I dislike.  But I seldom ever eat any.   Mrs Bouquet

:tongue2: Where to start? Blue Shropshire, stilton with spring onions, stilton with apricots, black pepper boursin, danish blue, mexicana cheddar with chillis - yum! :D

I can't really think of one I don't like, although I'm not mad keen on the cream cheeses. I like all the strong smelly types. I particularily love the Italian cheeses, Gorgonzola, fontina, Parmesan......etc ( they eat parmesan as cheese in Italy, not just grated on the top of spag bol :D)

That said I don't think you can beat a good bit of mature cheddar...mmmmmmmmm
