i remember many moons go that my grand father used to throw all the used tea leaves onto his veg etc...........is this a recognised thing and should i save all the old tea bags :)

 I add them to the compost heap, sometimes the bags don't disintegrate fully, but I never think it's a problem to pull a few out  :)

all ours go in the compost, so dose the used coffe grounds and just about anything els the chickens dont eat (could probly count that on one hand). :)

In the good old days, before teabags, the loose leaves were good for mulch and soil conditioner. Worms love 'em!
