I have an urban garden surrounded by 6' fences on all sides. I have never seen or heard a fox round here but in one night I lost 2 ducks and almost lost the rest. Don't ever underestimate them.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

I live in an urban area and the other morning I was looking out the window and could see a fox in the garden.  Thankfully it was not near the girls but I don't let them out unsupervised.  Also one evening at about 9pm there was a fox in the garden when I went out to water some of the plants.  It was still broad daylight because it had been a really sunny day so they have no fear.
