crawlies on pepper plant
« on: September 11, 2006, 13:55 »
my pepper plant seems to be covered in little (very tiny) white crawly things. the fruit doesn't seem affected but all the leaves seem to be turning brown and falling off. i have sprayed it a couple of times with 'growing success bug killer'. any ideas as to what it is and can i save the plant?

Sounds like whitefly - you could try washing the plants, especially under the leaves, with soapy water. Use old fashioned bar soap rather than detergent and a sprayer.
You can always rinse off the peppers before use.
