my 3 khaki campbell ducks, stood where my lawn used to be.
they do make up for it though, in the last 4 months since i bought them i have had 2 eggs a day from the 2 girls apart from 3 days when i had 1. not bad considering i was told they would lay a maximum of 200 each a year!

Hi freshers. Is there meant to be a photo there somewhere ? :D

Would love to see it if there is one. You'll never see grass again. But the entertainment makes up for it. :)

Kate will be along later to swear at you for getting eggs. She's had a very long drought of them. I've never tried a duck egg but hope to put that right someday.

If you click on the photo you want and then click in the box underneath that says IMG code, it will copy it to your clipboard automatically.

Then paste directly into the message as you did. You were very close :)

the enclosure on the left is their overnight home, they have the run of the garden during the day. i give them brown bread once a day as a treat and also mealworms when i can get em. they have started to wait at the back door for me to feed them and even knock on the door with their beak to demand their bread!

I'm gonna swear at you before Kate does!!!!  Jemmima has never laid and shes about 9 months old!!!!  My new one hasn't laid yet but i'm going to let her off for now.    You lucky sod !!!!!

grass can be replaced but good ducks can't Kate  and I will tell you that!!!

Any way I think photos of duck eggs wouldn't go amiss, so Kate and I can show ours what they are supposed to do!!!!!!!

Well done. :)   See what you mean about the grass.

One comment on the run. If a fox happened by, it would chew through the chicken wire easily. You really need welded mesh to keep them safe.

As matilda says, we need photos of the eggs. :)

My Khakis started laying about 10 days ago and I'm getting 1 egg a day from 3 girls. Not sure if it is the same girl or of they are taking it in turns.
