I have been enjoying my allotment. Lovingly planting and sowing.... BUT wild rabbits think I'm just out to feed them. They are eating everything! I'm not allowed to put ant kind of fencing on my plot at all. What can I do?

I am shocked that you can't put a rabbit proof fence around, we started a new site this time last year and it was the first job to protect the whole site. How do other plot holders manage.

I don't know. Most plots look as though they have been rotivated, not much sign of things growing on other plots yet.

You haven't said but I'm guessing you are fairly new to the site, speak to other plot holders the rabbit problem can't be a new one if it is an established site and I really can't see that anyone would grow crops just to feed the local wildlife.

I have to cover everything on my plot against rabbits, deer, pigeons and the dreaded cabbage white butterfly.

I use recycled waterpipe hoops covered with debris netting. Its not fencing so you should be able to have that I would have thought
