Try this:

That gets many more into the plot than I currently have planned.  I will have a go at that.

Have you looked in the bag? ;) :D

Must get out more! (and provide something for the little peas to grow up!) :tongue2:

Boom boom!

Found them buried in the Cadbury's Roses tin.

Just wandering what I'd get if I sowed the loose seeds kicking around the bottom of it.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Whilst it's an assortment of seed. I know none of them are peas - I'm very careful with those!

why wont you get two crops in, there is plenty of time to re-sow your peas!

What I meant was that i was hoping to sow mangetoute early, get a crop early June, then a later sowing & planting, if the weather holds out a late 2nd crop in September, but not enough time now, ah well, you can have too much of a good thing I suppose....  :(

Tried it, failed many times.

The time period is sound, the weather conditions are not. The later sowings succumb to mildew.

I got one decent crop one year. 5 wrong 1 right is enough for me not to bother with late sowings again.

But don't let me stop you, conditions may be right this year, but it's a lottery.

OOOH, hope you've not unleashed the pea monster

They are far far better when home grown, flavour, texture, variety (etc) and you can be feasting on them all through the year not just when it's the comercial picking season!

And they are very easy to grow.

Can you hear him? he's comming! you shouldn't blasphem (spelling) about peas on this site!

Haha! Love this post!
