hello everbody for some strange reason some of my girls have decided to lay smaller eggs than usual.is this normal,they have been laying decent sized eggs,but the eggs now look like pidgeon eggs.The breed I have are black rocks

Hi

What age are your girls?

Could they be wind eggs?  Have the small eggs got a yolk?

Forgot to add if you pop over to 'The Hen House' it is more for questions to do with concerns with our hens where as 'Chicken chat' is more for general chats  :)

they are about 18 months old and the eggs do have yolks
