How long?
« on: June 26, 2009, 13:49 »
Hmm...ok, so after some thought on sowing greenseeds or not I've decided not to and I bought some seeds.

I got some sweetpeas, poppy, foxglove and wild flowers for bees (a  mix).

I've sown all them directly into the ground, sweetpeas around the edge of the pallet compost bin and along a fence. Poppy and foxglove around the back edges of the bed and then sprinkled the wild flower seeds equally around the rest of the bed. Watered them in well.

What are the chances of seeing flowers this year? If it's possible when could I expect to see them pop up??

I hope you'll see something this year. My wildflowers packet says sow outdoors april - may for flowers july onwards...you're only three weeks behind on it

Well here's to hoping! I optimistically figured that it's not THAT far behind when it said to sow....

fingers crossed!
