My great big Cream Crested Legbar has just laid her first egg!!! A lovely green egg too, a lovely early Christmas present and I now have two hen laying out of my little flock of six So we are having  (green) eggs, ham, and chips for tea!

HOORAY for that girlie!!! my silver laced wyandotte laid her 1st egg this morning too  and she is the same age as yours so you may be getting 3 a day soon

Wow that's timing! I think my Dotty is ready to lay, she has been going off to the nest box but doesn't seem to know why - yet!
The egg is a lovely colour, very definitely green. Thank you for the kind comments!

Congrats on a beautiful egg! Hens look good too! Can't wait for my first one
