Is that not a bit early? You're going to have to stop them chitting for quite some time.

I wouldn't consider getting mine for a couple of months yet, as no way could I store them for two months in the way the suppliers do.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

DD, Suttons appear to be sending them out now as my Charlotte's have just arrived.  Popped them in the Attic as its unheated in there.

Not sure if thats the right idea or not?

Cheers

That's probably the best you can do, shouldn't get too frosted up there.

Mind if I ask what you paid for them, including postage?

I do have a reason for asking.

I paid £8.49 for 3kg pack.  I was ordering other stuff so postage was zilch.

Could have got them from Brookside Nurseries at Anstey last year for £3.45.

DD, life is all about learning and today just reaffirms that  :D

I know for spring 2013 to go visiting that for stuff.  Sometimes in the comfort of the living room when its dank dark outside, the seed catalogue just gets you carried away  ;)

Have a trip across there next year. I bet you'll buy some more - they have nearly 100 varieties!

I order min from JBA and they have an option for you to choose the rough date of delivery. I opted for the end of Feb.

Happy for them not to come until the new year really though, as space is a bit tight at the moment for unpacking them all

True, even places like Wyevale are cheaper when you take postage into account, but if there's absolutely nothing nearby, then there's little option.
