Best raspberry for taste.

Many years ago I got some summer-fruiting raspberry canes whose name I can't remember. They were either a Glen or Malling variety but had luscious red berries with a sweet but also a sharp taste. I got a different variety last year that were sweet as advertised but rather too much as they didn't have that proper raspberry taste. I have about 4 canes that have since grown in the bed when I took them out, but would prefer to start again with fresh ones. Anyone know which ones have the taste I'm looking for?
