To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, double the reading and add 30. E.g. 20 deg. C would be 20 x 2 =40 + 30 =70 deg.F.
We come from the earth, we return to the earth, and in between we garden.

.
I have one of the "weather stations" which can be set to either "F" or "C" I keep the sender in the greenhouse and the station on the kitchen window.  It has dates time pressures etc, very informative!

Got it in Lidls £19.99 some time ago, but have seen them elsewhere about the same or cheaper priced also much dearer!

Centigrade is totally useless if you are a gardener, the Kelvin scale is as about as much use in my opinion!

Cheers!
STOP, and smell the roses!

Temp (F) = (Temp(C) x 1.8) + 32

Edited to prevent forum software interpreting 8) as  8) !

Or even....F = C x 9/5 + 32
15C would be 15x9 = 135
                    135/5=27
                   27+32=59F
To get back to C just subtract 32 from F and multiply by 5/9

Here endeth the lesson for today...... ;)

There's plenty of Centigrade to Fahrenheit instant conversion websites available, or you could print out a table of the most useful equivalents (also available online.)

I've been mentally converting C-F for so many years I now know most of the range from about 8-30C off by heart, and still haven't quite yet broken the habit of converting grams to ounces when out shopping either.  ::)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

For an relatively easy calculation but not exactly mathematically correct.
Double the Celsius reading and add 32.
For example,
10 degrees in Celsius is  10 x 2 + 32 = 52 degrees Fahrenheit

Not a true conversion but near enough!
