1. Don't buy cheap netting for cabbage, cauli etc. Birds keep tangled in it, freed one, the other was dead when I got there. Debris netting next year.
2. Don't sow early.
3. Don't stop weeding.
4. Don't forget to clear a space for a shed.
5. Grow Mangetout, failure.
These will do for now. I will think of more later.

Grow so many blackcurrants

Me too, just grubbed up my third bush after putting the whole crop in the freezer along with 2kg from last year. Still got 60 jars of jam!

Sow toms in march, the ones sown in april are the same size

Sow onions in Jan, too much faff

Neglect to net my cherrys :(

Sow broard beans direct in spring, they were just mouse food :(

Next year ( or even this) I will not...

Spend nearly £40 in the 50p seed sale.
Buy any Basil seeds at all as I have not planted any of the 6 varieties I bought in last years 50p seed sale
Forget to take a list with me of what I actually need to the 50 p seed sale.

Plant immature plants out too early before they have grown big enough to cope with the odd slug attack.

Think I don't have to bother with labeling things because my memory is so good that I will either remember exactly what I planted and where, or I will be able to differentiate between seedlings of the same family.
