Do you mean salad onions? (I grow these from seed)

Or red onions sets that you plant in the Spring? They have these in our local Garden Centre : Red Baron

Hope that helps

I grow these:

North Holland Bloodred Redmate

£2.10 for 2,500 seeds from Moles or £1.99 for 300 from Suttons. Not much of a contest!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thank you for that info D.D., A very comprehensive seed merchant, from first glance many more varieties that Suttons, certainly an easier site for one such as I to navigate. It's now logged in for next year. Thanks again. arh.

Long Florence Red for me. Best of both worlds! Salad onions initially but if you leave them longer they bulb up.

Quite a few suppliers including premier seeds direct on Amazon/ebay.

I grew Lilia spring onions from kings last year. They were ok. Trying again this year as had trouble with all onions last year, so unfair to judge.
