Sweet Peas
« on: September 02, 2012, 12:07 »
Is it possible to save sweet pea seeds for next year. The pods are there. If so, do I just keep the 'pods' taking the seeds out next year, or should the seeds be taken out of the pods about now and kept?

I would put the complete pods in an envelope and keep that in a dry place. They will dry out in their own time and the seeds will fall out.

Just make sure you save dry brown pods, as the seeds in green ones may not be mature enough to grow
