Hi. I can't seem to find the recipe for this when I've put it into the 'search' so I wonder if anyone can enlighten me to it please. I have the Jeyes fluid, the washing up liquid and the diatom powder I just need to know what quantity and ratio in which to use them please. Oh I've also got a can of Johnsons poultry spray.
As its meant to be a nice day tomorrow I thought I might give the house and nest box a session with it. I haven't seen any red mites in the year that we've had them but thats not to say there aren't any.
when I clean it all out I vacuum it all as well!
Its not a huge henhouse but large enough for my 3 bantams.
Its one of these that has the sloping roof that comes down over the ramp and covers all of a small run underneath it, with a door into the run area. I hasten to add that we have a larger covered run attached to said house and even then they don't stay in that. They free range all over the back garden which is all lawn, till they put themselves to bed and then I shut the bigger runs door. I don't close the pophole, so they can get up when they want to.
I vacuum up all the walls and roof inside, hoping that I catch any redmite that may be lurking. As they don't have perches, they prefer to go into the nest box to sleep, will I need to vaseline the bits of wood that the perches would have sat on?
I have vaseline so I can grease anywhere that anyone suggested.
Any info on this recipe will be much appreciated.
Thank you for any help.
Anne
