coop paint!!
« on: August 25, 2012, 22:00 »
Hi just thought i would let people know that i have found some brilliant paint it`s call ducks back and is made by cuprinol (other paints are availlable) It comes in harvest gold and green. I have used it last week and now the water just pools into small balls and runs off. It`s about £15 a tin but is well worth it. I am not conected in any way with the product it`s just good stuff.

It actually comes in eight different colours, I favour Forest Oak as it dries to almost black - there is quite a lot of it around my garden. HERE is some more information about it.

I love garden shades...

I get very excited about the large range of colours it comes in! I still need to paint the coop, but my most recent bunny playhouse is painted in a combination of Willow and lavender!

When we looked into this one time before on here, if I recall correctly Garden Shades was animal safe and Ducksback wasn't. Its always best for individuals to check before use.

Ducksback works well on both Richard. On rough sawn timber it retains a much darker shade than when applied to CLS or other smooth surfaced timber. I really enjoy working with it as it paints on beautifully, even on rough wood. :)
