What do you plant in August?
« on: August 14, 2012, 21:48 »
Hello everyone - what seeds do you put down at this time of the year (in or outside the polytunnel)?
Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. :-)

This has been asked repeatedly recently.  You might want to try a search, but also have a look at this thread (which contains a link to yet another thread).

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

What you plant in August depends on what you like to eat

Have you studied the back of your seed packets to see what you can sow now.  I was doing that very job yesterday with a cuppa tea.

Yes raab is very much. Grew it a few years ago. Very nice and I don't recall bitterness at all. :D
