Hello a little help please.  On the subject of tomatoes.  Ok bush tomatoes you leave to grow, cordon tomatoes you pinch out the growth  between branch and stem?
Sorry you've probably been asked a million times!

Exactly right.  With the cordon you grow it as a single stem which needs support.
Cheese makes everything better.

Just to add to the confusion.  .  .cordon tom's (straight up and down) are also called indeterminate and bush jobs are determinate.  Why, I have no idea, I think it is an American thing.

I remember the difference by the first letter (I) straight up and down ! ::)

Cheers,    Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Oh thanks that's good to know.  What happens if you let them grow?

They grow into big plant but less tomatos.

For you info, those called 'suckers' can be planted in soil, and it will regrow its own new roots.
