I was just reading an article suggesting making your own green water.
By adding green leaves to half a bucket of water stir each day when the water turs green dilute half and half and use as a fertiliser.
Has anyone used this method ?

depends on which green leaves john nettles make a good tea as does compfrey but as for using just any green leaves the jury's out?

you'd had to be careful, if you want nitrogen then choose nettles, that will have give you leafy growth, comfrey i believe sucks all the nutrients from really down under like potash and phosphorus, so not all plants will want nitrogen but a balance of NPK and also key is ph balance of the soil.

I have a blue barrel of rain water where all my perrenial weeds go. When they rot down, they make a nice general fertilizer and gets rid of dandelions which I dont want in the compost heaps.
