still plenty of time for toms as meterman says plant them deep in the buckets and they will be more than happy planting this way helps build up a healthy root system.

This is all well and good in theory, but someone posted a few days ago a piccie of leggy plants about 2' tall. Assuming the  plant was already 6" deep in a pot, you'd need a container 2' deep to bury it with just 6" showing"

Far easier to either us the top shoot as a cutting, or start again.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Oh thank you, it did seem a shame to murder them, I gave them a day out the other day and regreted it as they wilted, they did recover though, love them they have been through so much in my house now I'm going to chop their heads off  :lol:
