I've been none too successful with playing music to my assorted plants on the kitchen windowsill:

Tried "Can't get enough of your love, babe" by Barry White and they went into such a swoon they tipped over and drowned in the sink.  :(

Next I tried the soundrack from "Riverdance" and they got so much into the rhythm they all uprooted themselves (same unfortunate result.)  :(  :(

Though something quieter might help, so played them an old Leonard Cohen LP - they all laid down and died.  :(  :(  :(

Do you think if I played the National Anthem over and over again they would stand to attention and do their duty (I could even dispense with the tinfoil?)  Main problem with that cunning plan is that it would probably have the "Leonard Cohen effect" on me too!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

But surely you have the National Anthem on permanent loop today anyway?  Its the Queen's birthday.

I think I'd lay down and die listening to Cohen too!

so called moonplanting generally involves planting according to planetary and lunar cycles rather than sowing seeds at night - although there a few 'odd' types about in Germany that do precisely that  ::)

I used to sow seeds in the kitchen of my first flat at night - although I had the kitchen light on! :D

Used to sing to them too... :D
