FB liked Vivaldi, so if you trying and also like it that should give them folks a better hearing. Let us know, how good it is. :)

Oh, thanks so much, but I've just bought some, they've turned up today, some pleasurable dreaming tonight, sorting out seeds. :)  :)

I bought Vivaldi potato tubers from Dobies.  I also bought Charlotte potato tubers.
It's the first time I've grown potatoes and they are coming up fine.
It's a very tasty potato and you can cook it any way.

I've just dug up my first Vivaldi :) Quite large spuds compared to Charlotte and just over 2lb for the plant :D Well chuffed with that, and the best thing is they taste really delish :D

Will deffo grow them again............the only downside is that on my dry soil the tall foliage got floppy, or do they all do this?

I had run out of charlottes and the red duke of york which were supposed to be my firsts are still mostly only marble sized :(. Vivaldi are classed as 2nd earlies/ early maincrop  depending where you look
so i furkled..they looked good so lifted one. I planted them on St Patrick's day, 17th march.  But they were up and away like rockets the first of my 3 types to break ground. I earthed them up 3 times and they were still a good 3 ft above the soil, that's why when it got windy they went all floppy.......but they still tasted PDG  YUM

Only 1 or 2 flowers. looked on the tatabase and it shows flowers but doesn't say much else.
But 1 thing.....i know why i like them....they compare them with desiree, and they are my all time fav spuds ...but i won't grow them because of the late blight risk. So it's vivaldi for me
