Come on Jack Frost !
« on: April 01, 2012, 19:10 »

How to protect a medium sized plum tree.

With a load of fleece, a little sister who can use a sewing machine, a couple of 8' garden canes with spikes in the ends and a couple of large nuts! (tied to the corners).

All I have to do now is keep my fingers crossed the wind stays calm.  The contraption on the left is a bird table for the corvids, they don't like landing in our small garden.  I swivvel it level and pop food on with a cup on the end of the washing prop.    ::)       :nowink:

Cheers,     Tony.

It rather reminds me of a Chinese Lantern for some reason. Don't know why!

Very impressive; I did wonder what the contraption was until you explained the bird table!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

If I see a massive flaming lantern in the sky, I'll know where it came from then
