The OP didn't post a photo, he just wants advice as to what might be eating his rhubarb leaves. ::)
Cheese makes everything better.

The chewers could be a number of common pests: leaf cutter ants or bees, sawfly or tent caterpillars (not sure of technical name of these guys).

If you find that ants are a problem, then find a young burdock plant, or plant one of the burrs near the rhubarb. When it grows, it will then draw all the ants to it, which ants consider sweeter than any rhubarb parts.

My plants are all about a foot high now - had my first harvest last Saturday. Not to my credit - it,s just warmer down here.

DD you meanie..

If it's slugs there is loads of suggestions on here if you use the search field for 'slugs'.
I have used coffee grounds to some success in the past (handy since our kitchen produces quite a quantity of grounds). Also called OH to contribute in the pee department  ;)

http://www.artipot.com/articles/356235/on-coffee-grounds-and-urine.htm

I hope that you still have some more rhubarb leaves to come up, and so can still get a crop. It's early yet.

I love my rhubarb..

Good luck!
Take my advice I'm not using it any more
