Hi poultry keepers, Being off work at the moment with two prolapsed disc's, has given me even more time to spend around the hens.
Today as the weather has been beautiful, i've taken the opportunity to sit in the garden and watch the hens go about their day to day life.
It has relaxed me so much, I never thought chicken keeping would be such a pleasure.
Chickens really are the best medicine

OOOOOh! I do sympathise having had a bulged disc last year.
Hopefully there will be plenty of sunny days to sit out in the garden watchin your girls to take your mind off it

Me too, strange how you get so attached to them is'nt it. A regular joke with my neighbour is, I say "chicken for dinner sunday Mac" He just looks and laughs...
