I was bought up with chickens - my grandad used to breed bantams (and I am very old now). I had ducks before getting chickens of my own but the fox got them  :(.

We had duck but got rid of them because mum said they brought the foxes since then we have not had a fox attack

Ooo Black and White araucana's  :)

I would love some of those, aren't they lovely ! My little boy named them Phineas & Pherb ( Don't ask !)

They are really hard to get hold of where I am in Lancashire, in the end I went to auction.

Do they all lay blue eggs?
Have been keeping hens for 3 years - currently have 12.
Enjoy a bit of " The Good Life "

there are many colours in the araucana egg range. They can be just almost white with just a hint of blue through blue to green  :).

Do you know of any breeders Lancashire way?  Have a couple of legbars that lay more of a green egg. The acraucanas are a lovely blue colour  :)  Thanks
