Planting after spuds

Hi all found some purple sprouting broccolli seeds today red arrow i think they are it says on the packet i can plant them outside in june and july hopefully my spuds will be out by then would i be able to plant the broccolli in its place cheers all

If you do that, you'll need to firm up the ground where you dug the spuds out as brassicas prefer a harder soil. You may even have to consider staking as these things can grow to some size.

Leeks are a good crop to follow spuds in the opened up soil - easier to dib holes!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

cheers matt and dd iv got a few raised beds so was thinking one with leeks one with psb,i found that out this year dd with my sprout plants they were falling over  :lol:

Dwarf french beans for me as a follow-on after first earlies, with spinach and florence fennel in one of the beds

as well as leeks in the other bed  :D

Depending, what you want to do with them, do not get carried away 2-4 plants of these can produce oodles of a crop. In general, I would think, they shall not take up potato space, but yes, otherwise.
