There are no stupid questions on here Griffete  :)

You can almost bet that every time you think that, someone else is secretly pleased that you've asked it, and that another person doesn't know the answer!

That would be me :-)

My overwintered Jalepeno is flowering, does anyone know if I should leave them or take them off, I have not had one flower so early before.

Snap!

Attached pic of my overwintered cayenne peppers taken about a week ago, since which time they have more flowers, and I've lopped a couple more stems from the top of the left-hand plant (and yes, that is a nearly-ripe chilli in the top left-hand corner!)

Don't do either of what I say or what I've done, because I have nothing to say, and haven't the foggiest idea whether what I'm doing (not much!) is right or wrong!

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

I suppose I cannot go wrong with feeding and seeing what happens.  :D I already have about 20 new plants germinated so it this one can keep flowing and fruiting for the next few months I should be able to have peppers for nearly 12 months.  I will have to see if I can get the same thing going with my Chilli next year and then aim for Sweet Peppers then world domination.  I think I need to lie down for a while.

Don't take the flowers off or you will get no fruit, LilacSandy  :D Good luck with your plan for world domination

This year I am attempting

Black Pearl

Hot stuff (cayenne type, different colours)

Hungarian Hot Wax

Cayenne (long red ones)

Sowed them today in modules, which are in the propagator.

I would put them in 3" pots now, ready to plant out after your last frost.
Alternatively if you have the room you can put them into three gallon pots (I use builders buckets) and move them in and out of doors until the weather improves.
