Assuming you are talking about seed potatoes rather than eating potatoes there's a very recent thread here:

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

In the trays that hold 30 eggs.   They are ideal, store somewhere light but not sunny and cool.     Cheers,     Tony.

It may be a bit late for you but I've found keeping them in a (spare) fridge is the ideal way to store them until you're ready to start chitting. A couple more weeks for me yet.  then a frost free  north facing porch for chitting.

No, given correct light & temperature, they'll sit there for months. Mine have been under way for a couple of weeks now.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

They will hold if you pop them in the bottom of the fridge even if they have started to chit.

If you want to chit them now make sure they are in a cool but frost free area with very good light to prevent the chits from becoming too leggy.

If they have leggy chits you can remove these and let them start again so that you get short, deep coloured shoots produced.
