Mixing flocks query?
« on: January 04, 2012, 11:39 »
Am I asking for trouble if I move a flock of 4 five week old table bird chicks (one with a bad foot) out of their brooder outside with a second flock of 5 twelve week old Favs (2 cockerels) and 1 five month old Fav?

I would say yes, meat chickens really should be kept separate, they just like to eat, pooh and sleep when they are a little older - also they don't usually perch I don't think.
Staffies are softer than you think.
