Hi I have to Hens which are over a year old and also 2 Pullets 17 wks old. At moment they are free range all day together but I am bedding them seperately at night, which is a nightmare.  I want to try them all together today as they have a big run and then it would make life so much easier, is there anything I can do to help and is there anything to look out for???  The older hens are boss and chase the pullets  in the garden but on a whole they get on ok and have been together in garden for about 6 weeks.  Id be really grateful for any advice or pointers.... do I just let them get on with it??

leave them to it unles you see blood and then the purple spray on the red areas. Mine squabbled for a couple of days but after a couple of days they settled fine

A nice person on here suggested waiting til bed time then puting them together. They need their rest more than fighting.

Theyre all in the coop.... had to put the babies in by hand though.  Will check every hour and then lock up in a couple of hours... make sure im up early to let them out  Thanks for any advice

they will settle down over night I will keep my fingers crossed for you for tomorro. Mine never really went for it at bed time just in the run the next day and only for a hour or so (oops i meant squabbling you know peck here a peck there not constantly)
