Hi everyone, Just a little story that I hope will stop someone making the same mistake as me.
Yesterday my friend phoned me to tell me her chicken coop and chickens were infected with redmite and that she was going to work and it was impossible for her to get it sorted.  Obviously being  helpful I took my redmite powder straight round there. Insisting that I use it so she didnt use too much, seeing as it was mine Well cut along story short. The lid flew off and the entire 500g of powder went everywhere. YAY   I scraped loads into a takeout carton so she could reuse at somepoint and phoned the manufacturer up to enquire if it would kill her bird.  Answer the Birds would be fine. Bad news £12 worth of redmite powder gone :S expensive favour!

Moral of story make sure you dont make the same mistake
