If chickweed is a problem.Wait until you get a good hard frost and the weed is also frozen.
Then stamp on it until it is completly crushed. That will soon get rid of it.

That's just an impossible task I am worse, than not having me knife to cut them things at an angle, I am worse than organic, I am natural, I am naturally not putting anything of toxins on my garden and plants, I ' m gonna give you nightmares on your mind, so you might want to erase me from there.
And I'm worse than that even: my lips are sealed...That's partly because it's well past me bedtime...

Thanks Henry, I'll give that one a try although I can't actually remember if chickweed stays around all winter or not

Or put it on your salad!!!!  Never tried it, but supposed to be good.  I'm lucky, I've got chooks, but if I waited til the first frost, my veg patch owuld be overrun with chickweed!

Up in the frozen north and the further you go the less likely chickweed will over winter. Its does however survive the far less harsh winters down south and in the midlands.
However you may get a mild winter this year so keep looking. Thanks Whiskey
