More advice please!
Our chicks are 4 days old and they are in a brooder with Aubiose bedding and some kitchen paper on top.  I noticed that a couple of the chicks are getting poo stuck to their claws (and feathers) and don't know the best way to keep them clean.   I read on another site of someone who put a tray of compost in the brooder but their chicks were 2 weeks.

Don't know if they are too young for this but can only suggest soaking them in warm water - their feet not the whole chick!!! of course - very, very gently. :)

Sure someone along shortly with better idea
