Greetings!

I've got strawberry plants - the first strawberries are fattening up nicely and starting to turn pink (I'm very excited!). As far as I can tell, there aren't any runners yet... when will they start to put them out?

As always, all help most appreciated!

Mine started throwing out runners when they had fruited

My strawberries have fruited and I have runners on the plants I grew last year but not on the more mature ones but I think they are building up to it.  I'm going to be potting my new baby plants this weekend - they will be second generation to the 6 original plants I bought.  Best year I had for strawberries ever.
