Red Eye Problem

I've been out to check my mum's chickens this morning and one of our Pekin Bantams has one red eye.  The pupil is very small.  The eye doesn't look puffy, and there is no obvious swelling or bubbling.  She seems healthy, is active, and has been busy trying to lay this morning.

Any suggestions what this could be?
