compost / composting question
« on: September 17, 2007, 13:38 »
i keep looking at my compost bin( darlik thing) and thought it looks far to wet and never seams to have any heat to it.

it was only half full so today thought while not much is set i will move it from under the tree to where there is more sun

now not sure ive done the right thing or not, while digging to re-fill in new location i find that its rotting well plus ive never seen so many worms in one place in my life.

what location is a compost heap / bit best suted to?

thanks for your help

nathan

in the sun and warm .it needs water to hasten the rotting down process as well ..... turning it over helps get more air into it anyways so fear not
still alive /............
